Cherry-Apricot Cobbler
cherry-apricot cobbler recipe from bon appetit - juicy filling overflowed, nice fluffy topping. honey peach-blackberry cobbler from cooking light - topping didn't fluff up nicely but the filling was rich and tasty.

coconut macaroon topping and coconut-brown sugar-wheat flour crust with lots of cherries.

Strawberry Ceviche
first time making ceviche at home - used firm halibut cut into small pieces cured in lime juice, made a strawberry salsa with chiles, red onion, oregano and finished with chopped strawberries, basil, cilantro

Pappardelle with Wine-Stewed Duck
ok it's been a long hiatus but i have finally uploaded my backlog of the occasional meals i have remembered to photograph and plan to go back to updating this more frequently again. here at the top is a duck ragu stewed in cabernet sauvignon that paired quite nicely with a delicious Iron Horse 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon.
