The Joy of Cookies: New Classics and Old Favorites to Share by Joanne Chang (NetGalley ARC, pub 10/20) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is a good primer on techniques with a lot of classic recipes, but also some interesting twists thrown in. Oatmeal toffee, peanut butter miso caramel, chocolate cherry brownies, whole lemon bars, Danish butter cookies, Langue de Chat biscuits, meringue chicks (adorable!), and peanut butter sandwich cookies are now on my “to be baked” list!
